Shift happens. Really. I used to eat too much pork. But this friend of mine from New York is a Muslim. So to recognize her beliefs, I, too, avoided meat. And it has been working out for me. The long weekend gave me more reasons to stay up late. Although I recognize that this choice wouldn't do any good at all, I defend myself by saying that I am just not a sleeper like everyone else. My entire life I had been accustomed to spend the day awake. Now I guess I'm getting the price of all the energy drinks and coffee I had goggled.
